She encouraged James Cameron to "keep making weird monster sex movies," and asked George Clooney a very important question about her Nespresso machine, which was a subtle knock on his most recent commercial work rather than his performance in Jay Kelly. She said Kevin Hart was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s plus one and called the One Battle After Another star Sean Penn a “sexy leather handbag.”

 

 

 

Among the night's best moments was Teyana Taylor's triumph in the Best Female Supporting Actor category for her role in One Battle After Another. "He said that making Hamnet made him realize that the most important thing about making the film was learning to be vulnerable enough to allow ourselves to be seen for who we are, for who we ought to be, and to give ourselves fully to the world even the parts of ourselves we are shamed of, that we are afraid of, that are imperfect, so that the people that we speak to they can fully accept themselves for who they are," she said. "I see so many of you have become so strong and tender at the same time and shared so much of yourselves with the world," Zhao said. "So salute your bravery and your dedication. If you watched the Golden Globes, you know that The Studio completely dominated. Co-creator Seth Rogen accepted the award for Best Television Series – Musical and Comedy, and gave the show’s crew a heartwarming shout-out. The Studio was in a tough category, going up against Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Nobody Wants This, and Only Murders in the Building. Many fans noticed a full-circle moment for Rogen and the cast, as episode eight of season one was set during the Golden Globes, meaning the cast found themselves attending the real ceremony after recreating a fictional one on screen. During the acceptance speech, Rogen confirmed that filming for season two will be underway soon.

 

"I really want to thank our crew, most of whom don’t get invited to this, but they should," she admitted. "Truly, without all of you, this show would not be makeable. So thank you very much.
